I stumbled upon something, today, that I am morally obligated to share with my fellow geeks. Neil Cameron (who some of you may know as the artist from the Doctor Who comics) is producing one of the most amazing, amusing and alliterative alphabet collections since Neil Gaiman & Gris Grimly’s “The Dangerous Alphabet”. Based on daily submissions from anyone and everyone who cares to cast their whimsy into the internet winds, he is illustrating the oddest cross section of geekdom in an alphabetical vein. Each day a new offering from Cameron appears on his blog, A-Z of Awesomeness http://tinyurl.com/kr9fc7, illustrating his pick of the submissions. According to his blog, he does this as an escape, to fulfill a need to draw stuff that is simply fun, and to amuse himself. The alphabet is almost done; today’s offering showcases Sulu and Spiral Swashbuckling in Space (with several serrated swords.) If you’d like to make suggestions for T-Z, there’s still time.

And if you do nothing else, you MUST go see what he did to Joss Whedon for J…
