Those fine folks at DC have done it once again…yet another announcement that has made me squee with delight. DC Universe: The Source is reporting that Paul Levitz will be revisiting the 31^st Century as the writer of a new Legion of Superheroes comic launching this spring. Now, Levitz was already announced as returning to the group that made him a comic legend, but in the pages of Adventure Comics. But now, that the supergroup is getting their own comic, there’s no word on what’s happening with Adventure Comics.

Levitz is joined on the series by up-and-coming artist Yildiray Cinar. Judging from the sneak peak of images, it’s going to be a great combination. I for one am psyched. The Legion has been one of my favorites going back to my childhood. The fact that my Legion, the Legion I grew up with has returned and is back in the hands of the man who gave us such powerful stories like The Great Darkness Saga just makes me happy, happy, happy! And this art work…all I can say is, wow! I’m so psyched for DC in 2010!
