Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Trailer Released
The next DC Comics direct-to-dvd movie is coming in the Spring of 2010 and Warner Bros. Home Video has released a new trailer for the feature. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is a based on a script originally written for the Justice League Unlimited TV series written by award-winning animation and comic writer Dwayne McDuffie. Reworked as a stand alone tale, and not following JLU contintuity, Crisis on Two Earths follows a version of the Justice League that is more rooted in current DC continuity, as they battle their evil counterparts from a parallel universe.
In the movie, a heroic Lex Luthor arrives from the alternate Earth in the hopse of recruiting the Justice League to save his world from the ravages of the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the Justice League, composed of members such as Ultraman, Superwoman and Owlman. The teams battle in a war that threatens both planets and, thanks to Owlman’s own demented schemes, threatens all existence itself.
The video is executive produced by fan-favorite Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and is co-directed by Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies). Voices for the movie include Mark Harmon as Superman, James Woods as Owlman, Gina Torres as Superwoman, Chris Noth as Lex Luthor and William Baldwin as Batman.
Thanks to IGN.com for the video. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will be released in early 2010.
