Metallo: A New Shade of Green!
The Man with the Kryptonite heart is making his way to "Smallville"
Okay…that title is horrible…but I just had to!)
TV Guide’s Matt Mittovich is reporting that Brian Austin Green will be doing stint on Smallville next season as a familiar character in the Superman mythos: Metallo.
While still being named John Corben, this version of Metallo differs in that he will actually be a reporter at…you guessed it…The Daily Planet. According to Mittovich, Metallo will appear in “at least the first two episodes of Season 9.”
Green is no stranger to the sci-fi/fantasy/geek genre; he costarred last season in Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Here’s hoping he can do justice to one of Supes more well-known baddies.
No word yet on what’s going on with Zod, who made his splashy return at the end of last season.
