Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello has posted two new pictures from the highly anticipated Smallville: Absolute Justice, which brings DC Comics’ oldest super-hero team, The Justice Society of America, to live action television.

We’ve already had a first peak at Hawkman and there was a trailer released that gave us a quick peak. Now, these new photos show Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Stargirl, in all their glory.

All I can say is…Holy Moley…I can’t wait for February!

I wasn’t a fan of the first picture of Hawkman and I held out hope that the angle was wrong or that it wasn’t a good image. Well…looks like that hope has paid off. As we can see in the image below, Michael Shanks looks pretty good as Hawkman and the costume isn’t nearly as cheesy as it looked originally. And, true to the comics, it looks like good old Bird Brain and everyone’s favorite Emerald Archer are not getting along!

We saw Dr. Fate in a “blink-and-you’ll-miss-him” moment in the trailer, but now we get to see him very clearly. Both he and Stargirl look spot on! I can’t believe how accurate they were with these costumes. I was sort of affraid they’d take the Smallville route and make them “more real world”, but they didn’t! These two look like they just walked off the page and onto our screens!

Written by fan-favorite comic author Geoff Johns, Smallville: Aboslute Justice sees the JSA coming out of retirement to interact with a pre-Superman Clark Kent, and is scheduled to appear on The CW on February 5, 2010.

Oh, and it bares repeating once more…

Holy God I can’t WAIT for this movie!
