Sequel to Best Selling Batman: Arkham Asylum Video Game Announced
Comic Book Resources is reporting that a sequel to the best selling Batman: Arkham Asylum video game is already in the works. The announcement came during Spike TV’s 7th Annual Video Game Awards.
The site reports that, while the game didn’t win any awards, everyone’s favorite Dark Knight was present throughout the ceremony, with the Joker (voiced again by Mark Hamill) kicked off the show by introducing a teaser trailer for the game.
From ComicBookResources.comAs a giant green gift wrapped box opened up on the VGA stage, the Joker’s thugs went through the crowd gassing everyone. The brief trailer showed what looked to be inmates from Arkham wreaking having on Gotham, as the Joker sat watching the mayhem. The Clown Prince of Crime appeared to be recovering from the events of the first game, accompanied as always by Harley Quinn.
As the trailer ended with a broken bat symbol, the trailer ended with a new website for the sequel. The site, www.arkhamhasmoved.com, is not live yet but should be available soon. Hopefully, they will put the teaser trailer up soon and we’ll let you know as soon as they do.

I don’t know about any of you, but I’m psyched for this. Though I have yet to complete the game (thanks to a full work and school load! Guess what I plan on doing with my winter break?!?!), I really love the game. The graphics are incredible, the game play really which and varied and, of course, how can you not love having both Hamil and Kevin Conroy reprising their roles from the classic Batman: The Animated Series (and it’s subsequent variations)? I’m hoping that this one one take too long to hit the shelves. I’m ready to return to Gotham City and soon!
