Last week, I talked about the special Avatar screening, and in that post, I mentioned what a great job they did on animating the avatar for the Sigourney Weaver character. I was really impressed that you could tell right away it was Weaver. Well, now you all can see it for yourselves!

Empire Magazine has a great article about Avatar along with tons of pics from the movie, which the folks over at MarketSaw have been kind enough to post for all to enjoy. And they include a great shot of Weaver and her avatar.

They really did a great job of capturing Weaver’s features (for me it’s her mouth…she has a very distinctive mouth), and this picture, while great, still doesn’t do it justice. When you see it on the screen and in 3-D…well, there’s no doubt whatsoever it’s her. The more I see, hear and read about Avatar, the more psyched I get for this movie!
