Prepare for the End of Days: Legion Movie Trailer Released

Legion, starring Paul Bettany, opens January 22, 2010So, I saw the trailer for this new movie called Legion and I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed with this. Now, I’m not a huge fan of the whole “one man takes on the world with big guns and fancy gung-fu” action movies, but the twist behind this one has me really looking forward to it.

Starring Paul Bettany, Dennis Quiad, Kevin Durand, Kate Walsh and Charles S. Dutton, a remote truck stop diner becomes the place where a group of stranded strangers become humanity’s last line of defense against the coming Apocalypse. Not “an” apocalypse. THE Apocalypse. This group must defend the diner’s young waitress against a whole mess of angry angels and divinely changed humans, all to protect the life of her unborn child: humanity’s next messiah.

I have to say, I heard about this a little while I was at Comic Con but didn’t really pay it any mind. After seeing the trailer, all I can say is, “Wow!” I think it looks pretty damn cool, but why don’t you judge it for yourself (be warned: you must be 18 to see the trailer):

Legion is set to open January 22, 2010.

After watching this a second time, I realize that Kevin Durand would kick ASS as Hawkman in a Justice League movie!

I am not one for big religious war pics – but this one looks great.

I love the line : “Maybe he (God) just got tired of all their Bu!!$h!t” — who could blame him/her ?

And, yes – Kevin would make a great Hawkman, and these new CGI wings look much better then what was produced for the X-man movies…
