Sci Fi Channel president Dave Howe says the debut of Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica prequel series, is likely to be in January 2010.
For a taste of Caprica, now, you have some options that include Netflix, or renting through other fine distributors, or you could just buy the DVD that came out in April to see the first episode. In our household, we just bought the DVD when it came out, and we were not disappointed. The storytelling is savvy, sophisticated and whet our appetites for more.
